Empowering Young Hearts Through Play & Language

As part of our commitment to social responsibility and cultural exchange, a group of Erasmus students had the incredible opportunity to visit a Sevgi Evi (Love House) — a government-supported care center for boys who are either orphaned or in need of a safe and supportive environment.

During our visit, we spent quality time engaging with the children through fun and educational activities. From interactive games and storytelling to basic English teaching through songs and playful exercises, the goal was to create moments of joy, connection, and learning.

It wasn’t just about teaching English. It was about sharing smiles, listening, and showing the kids that they matter,” said one of the Erasmus participants.

The boys welcomed us with open hearts and endless energy. Their curiosity and eagerness to learn turned the visit into a meaningful exchange — not just of language, but of empathy, culture, and hope.

We left the Sevgi House feeling inspired, grateful, and reminded that small acts of kindness can build big bridges.
